New Vista Learning Center is expanding!

New Vista Learning Center is close to celebrating its 8th anniversary of quality, personal online New Thought instruction! Now the ministry is expanding to invite a consortium of teachers. They will be dynamic online teachers who are New Thought ministers, Licensed Unity Teachers, or CSL practitioners. They are keenly versed in Spiral Dynamics and are able to convey New Thought principles and practices with an Integral (Post-post-Modern or green/Yellow) worldview.

Rev. Lauri Boyd, whom I have been working with for over a year developing the Creating the Beloved Community Retreat is the first colleague to join New Vista Learning Center’s consortium of teachers. Spiraling Through the Parables with Rev Lauri Boyd: February 2023

Explore Spiral Dynamics, a powerful model for understanding human value systems and how they influence our thoughts, words, and actions. Spiral Dynamics is a tool we can use to understand ourselves and each other more deeply. We will use the parables of Jesus to explore the spiral memes, applying what we learn to our own spiritual journey and to our relationships with others. Join Rev Lauri Boyd for a deeper exploration of Spiral Dynamics. Although this is not an accredited SEE course, it will help you develop your emotional and spiritual intelligence. Rev Lauri is certified to teach Spiral Dynamics Level I and Level II and has studied it since 2006. Five Thursdays, February 2, 9, 16, 23, and March 2. 1:00p -3:00p EST (12:00p CT)

Evolution in the Bible 

This course offers an overview of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) focusing on the historical, cultural and political memes that portray the worldview at the time the Bible was written. Advanced Spiral Dynamics: Spring 2023

Spiral Dynamics students have requested this course for a long time. “Advanced” means that you’ve had a basic introduction to Spiral Dynamics. You could have a dozen years of it or just a workshop on it, and you’d be eagerly welcomed. We will dive deeper into the details of the model, such as “transcend and include,” which is a bit inaccurate, and imagine other ways to understand the concept. The course uses the model to explore realistic applications on every level: personal, family, church, local, national and global dynamics. This is not an accredited Unity SEE course. Rev Pat is certified to teach Spiral Dynamics and has studied it for 15 years. 1st and 3rd Thursdays Feb. 16, March 2, 16, April 6, 20. 7 – 8:30 pm Eastern (6 CT)

Unity SEE Offerings

New Vista Learning Center has developed a library of video lessons to cover many Unity SEE courses. After you register Rev Pat will send you a syllabus with links to each video. Before coming to the live session, watch each video, read, and do suggested activities, then come to class to explore the topics with a group. This format honors the adult learner by providing succinct lessons, practical application, and personal opportunities for spiritual expansion. In the process, we are forming a meaningful spiritual virtual community of people exploring the 2nd Tier of consciousness.

Metaphysics Series 2023

The Unity Metaphysics courses begin with Metaphysics 1, which Rev Pat teaches every term at UWSI. She continues the online series at New Vista Learning Center and with the participants, creates a loving, supportive cyber community for 15 weeks. Consider joining this for a great spiritual experience of spiritual exploration with other enthusiastic Unity students.

Pre-register: Pay an “intention payment” of $30.00 before January 31 and you will receive 15% discount during Meta 4.  You will pay $75.00 for Meta 2 and $75.00 Meta 3 just before each course begins, but only $34.00 for Metaphysics 4. Explore how you can consciously work with the universal spiritual laws to create the kind of life you desire.  Topics include thoughts and feelings, metaphysical malpractice, our innate creative powers, and the creative power of words. Through rich conversations, stimulated by open-ended questions and creative activities, you will not only develop a deeper sense of your creative abilities but you also become part of a trusting spiritual community with other interesting and dedicated truth students. Tuesdays, March 14-April 11 at 7 pm Eastern (6 CT)

Metaphysics 4

In this advanced course, you will further investigate and apply the Truth that you have learned in the previous metaphysics courses. This course summarizes and organizes metaphysical teachings so that Truth may be demonstrated in your life. Through the consistent use of these practical principles, you  will consciously transform your life and realize more of your spiritual potential. We will meet four weeks, and you will have the option to meet privately with Rev Pat for coaching on your final project. (Prerequisites: Metaphysics 1-3) Tuesdays, April 18-May 9 at 7 pm Eastern (6 CT)
