Rev. Lauri Boyd, MDiv.
Transformation is one of my most deeply held values. I believe that our purpose for being is to awaken to a higher level of consciousness in order to transform our human experience. I have lived this value in my own life, and have discovered that one of my personal Spirit-gifts is the ability to help facilitate this process in others.
I am an author, speaker, and workshop presenter. I have published numerous articles and the book Dark Matters: Discovering Wholeness in the Shadows which is available on Amazon. I have presented workshops and spoken in churches, in the corporate world, and at regional, national and international conferences.
I love teaching. It is my passion, my heart, and my gift. I first realized it over 30 years ago when I began tutoring fellow students in college. During my 20 year career in the corporate world, I developed curriculum and taught classes in companies all over the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, the Netherlands and Panama. I also presented papers at a number of international conferences in the United States.
I am now creating curricula for and teaching classes related to spiritual growth. As a dedicated lifelong learner myself, I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, in addition to a Master of Divinity degree from Unity Institute.
Additional Skills / Certifications Include:
- Spiral Dynamics Levels I and II Certification, Dr. Don Beck and Dr. Jean Houston
- Integral Theory, member of Kansas City Integral Salon
- Peacemaking Skills Training, UWM
- Thriving Ministries Seminar, UWM
- Mediation Skills Training, Lombard Mennonite Institute
- I of the Storm training, UWM
- BePeace Foundation Training
- Light and Love Ministries Prayer Chaplain Program, certified trainer
I am an ordained Unity minister, recently retired from church ministry. I have served as the senior minister at Unity of Columbia, MO (2016-2021)and at Unity of Bloomington, IN (2010-2015), as the president of the board of Unity Worldwide Ministries Great Lakes Region, and as a member of the advisory board of the Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute. My international background has given me a deep appreciation for diversity and for the universal Truths that can be found in other faith traditions of the world as well as in our Unity teachings.
Rev. Stephanie Seigh, ACE, PCC
Rev. Stephanie Moyer Seigh, ACE, PCC, is a twice-ordained Minister (Unity and Interfaith) and a Professional Certified Coach. Before coming to Unity of Palmyra, she served several Unity and Interfaith communities, in Gettysburg, Harrisburg, and Allentown, PA; New York City, NY; and Atlanta, Georgia.
Rev. Stephanie was the national Director of Peacemaking and Transitional Services for Unity Worldwide Ministries. She was an adjunct faculty member at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City, and a mentor coach for The Academy for Coaching Excellence. She specializes in personal, organizational, and leadership coaching and consulting, and teaching classes and workshops on a variety of life-affirming topics.
Rev. Stephanie lives in Londonderry Township with her husband, Ken, and enjoys making her home beautiful, gardening, hosting friends and family, and spending time with her amazing granddaughters. She loves all things Star Trek and Star Wars and believes in the future Gene Roddenberry predicted decades ago: “Star Trek was an attempt to say that humanity will reach maturity and wisdom on the day that it begins to not just tolerate, but take a special delight in differences in ideas and differences in lifeforms.”
Rev. Pat Veenema, MDiv.
I’m a graduate of Unity Institute & Seminary, where I set my sights on learning all I could about the evolution of consciousness. I was ordained by Unity Worldwide Ministries in 2012. I’m founder of New Vista Learning Center, and adjunct faculty for Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute. My ministry is teaching: helping people awaken to the spiritual truth that they are beloved, precious and evolving. I served as a church minister for a while until I created this online spiritual education ministry, which gives me great happiness!
I am committed to being relevant, accessible and honest with the seeker of the 21st Century. I offer a thriving spiritual online learning center where together we can grow in self-awareness and self-esteem, where we can fully embrace being spiritual beings having a human experience.
Unity Institute ‘s Masters of Divinity program offered me a priceless opportunity to allow my mind and heart expand to transcend and include my old embedded theology. I am grateful to the Unity movement, founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore over 125 years ago!
Daily, I practice being heart-centered, and I am also a keen thinker and an effective facilitator, who provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere for personal sharing and exciting theological conversations.
I utilize various teaching methods to present materials. I am responsive to the tone and pace of the group, and I create a sense of stimulation as well as a circle safety for you to feel comfortable asking the tough questions or sharing something aloud that will help you move through a block.
I believe that transformation takes more than a couple Sunday sermons per month, and the classroom setting of no more than 10 people is an effective way to facilitate lasting transformation.
